We have recently come ocross some wonderful people who make dog jewelry. "Dog jewelry," you exclaim? Well these are small pendants made from chrystals and semi-precious gemstones. They run about $20.00 each. They are supposed to have healing qualities. Well they look real nice anyhow. I purchased one for a firend who had a small hyperactive dog. The dog is still active, but it is less frenetic and shakey. The company is AngelsToo.com They make nice jewelry for people too, but I am pretty impressed with their dog stuff. They also donate 10% of the sales of their dog stuff to the local animal shelter. good people!
What is it about dogs that we love so much? Is it their devotion and their unbending love? If you have a dog, you probably love your dog. There is no relationship between humans and any other species that has a bond running so deep or a history so long. The oldest testimony of our relationship with our dogs dates back to 14,000 years ago in Germany where someone took the effort to bury their dog. 7,000 years ago in the Mesolithic period, a man was buried with a dog laid out over his legs. Yes we have evidence that our love of dogs spans eons, we can have no doubt that over the same eons dogs have returned our love with interest.
If you have a dog, whether it is a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, you have a friend that will stand by you and be devoted to you through any situation. It is no surprise, then, being the recipients of such devotion, we want to want to return it with the best of care we can give our dogs and then share our love of our dog with the world.
What-a-good-dog.com is about loving your dog and telling others about it. Whether you do that by giving your dog the best treats and care or wearing a shirt with a picture of your dog on it, or simply posting a picture of your dog on one of our pages here and letting others know that you have a good friend too. We want to provide you with yet another outlet to express yourself and your enthusiasm for your good friend, your dog.
